Every academic year at St. Francis begins with the same question in the staff room: what will each child carry away from this year that no examination can measure? We ask it because marks, while they matter, are the shortest part of a long story.
Our teaching is deliberately unhurried. Classes are structured around the CBSE framework, but the pace is set by comprehension rather than by the calendar. Teachers are expected to know each child in their care — the ones who race ahead, and the ones who need a second explanation without being made to feel small for needing it.
We place equal weight on conduct. Punctuality, courtesy, honesty in work and respect for the school's property are not decorative virtues here; they are examined daily in the ordinary business of assembly, corridor and classroom.
To the parents who have entrusted their children to us: this partnership works best when it is candid. Read the diary, come to the meetings, tell us early when something at home is affecting your child's work. We will do the same.
